Ao Po Grand Marina

About Ao Po Grand Marina

Ao Po Grand Marina is a full-service marina on Phuket’s northeastern coast in Pa Khlok, overlooking the waters of Phang Nga Bay. Its location places it away from Phuket’s main west-coast resort areas while providing direct access to one of southern Thailand’s most established boating regions.

The marina accommodates yachts and superyachts and provides berthing, marine services and supporting facilities for owners, crews and visitors. For people living in Ao Po and the surrounding east-coast communities, it is also an important local landmark and a practical connection to Phuket’s boating lifestyle.

Marina Facilities & Phang Nga Bay

Ao Po Grand Marina provides the infrastructure expected from a full-service marina, including yacht berths, shore power and water, fuel access, boat handling and marine support services. Dining and leisure facilities are also available within the marina, making it more than a point of departure for boats.

Its position on Phuket’s east coast provides convenient marine access to Phang Nga Bay, an area known for sheltered waters, limestone islands and established cruising routes. This makes the marina particularly relevant to residents who own a yacht, charter regularly or simply value convenient access to the water.

Living Near Ao Po Grand Marina

For property buyers considering Ao Po and the wider Pa Khlok area, the marina is one part of the location rather than the reason every buyer will choose to live here. Its value depends largely on how important boating, waterfront access and proximity to Phang Nga Bay are to an owner’s lifestyle.

Properties around Ao Po include private villas, hillside homes and residential developments across the surrounding area. Buyers should consider the marina alongside more practical factors such as road access, everyday amenities, schools, healthcare and travel time to other parts of Phuket.

Understanding that wider context is important when comparing Ao Po with other residential locations on the island.
